After facing music over an alleged marriage split and affair with reigning queen bee Simran, Kamal Haasan has more trouble in store.Reports say that his latest flick, the K S Ravikumar-directed Panchathantram hasn't found many takers as distributors are shying off this heavily-priced movie.
Kamal's personal trauma has extended to his screen fortunes even before, when he left first wife Vani Ganapathi for Mumbai wannabe starlet Sarika. He was supposed to have lost the crucial "female audience" during this phase.
P L Thenapan, the producer of Panchathantram feels that he has a winner at hand and is not compromising on the price, while the distributors' take is that after the Aalavanthaan debacle and the lukewarm response to Pammal K. Sammandam, a Kamal Haasan movie should come with a much more modest price tag.
The Ravikumar-Kamal Haasan combo has been bang-on till now, with two blockbusters - Avvai Shanmughi and Thenaali - to their credit. Meanwhile, the industry is keenly watching the fortunes of this movie, which would decide on Kamal's standing at the Box-Office.
